User Guide

Use "Page-Break" Tags

HTML-Scissor 'cut' your file by detecting 'Page-Break' tag. The default 'Page-Break' tag is '<H2>', so whenever HTML-Scissor sees a '<H2>' tag, it starts a new slide.

You may change the 'Page-Break' tag by goto File | Assign Page-Break tag

It is recommend to put the page break tag at the beginning of the line.

Printing

To print all pages in your document, split page automatically according to your page-break tag, simply goto File | Print all pages.

If you want to print page by page, or simply want to preview your document before print, use the Previous / Next button to browse document, and use File | Print Current Page to print the current viewing page.

First Page & Last Page

You can easily jump to the first page of your doucment, and last page of your document, by using the 'Pg1' & 'PgN' button on the toolbar.

Known limitations

4. Show-URL Bookmark Utility

Do you have a list of bookmarks / hotspots / URLs you would like to print out or give to other people?
Do you want to clean up your bookmark files for distribution?
Do you want to export bookmark files as plain text?

It is both time consuming and tedious if you extract URL, or remove unwanted tags manually from the bookmark file, one by one, using a text editor.

With Show-URL, you can now PRINT your bookmark files with their descriptions, as well as their actual URL address. It is as easy as pressing a single button and your original bookmark file remains unmodified. You can also choose to remove unwanted date tags. Output can be SAVED to a new bookmark file (HTML format), or EXPORTED as plain text (without HTML tags)

All pages you see in this sample document are contained in a single HTML file, using <H2> as the default Page-Break Tag.
